About FOSTER

FOSTER (Facilitated Online Sources Toolkit for Establishing Repositories) has been created to assist RUBRIC partners in setting up a new institutional repository. It is anticipated that this resource will gather content with an Australian focus where possible, covering areas such as:

Basic background resources on Open Access and Institutional Repositories
Project Initiation Checklists, Sample Surveys and Institutional Readiness Audit
Business case arguments, including ROI and Value propositions
Software selection process
Business planning documents
Cultural change issues and how to address them
Workflows with particular software solutions, including Data Quality Assessment and Metadata checklists
